Only those who dare to fail greatly can ever achieve greatly

After writing a number of feature films and making up to fifteen short films of reasonable and unreasonable standard! After signing contracts with film companies only to have my dream deals become just a dream I decided to make my own feature, which is Evans Baby. Evans Baby is that elusive feature film that I hoped would be made from an arms length, possibly produced by Pathe and released by Lionsgate that never happened ........... well not yet anyway.

However since completing Evans Baby I have learned something that I didn't realise before now, I have learned that I am durable and have a toughness that has been honed through taking the knock backs, smiling through the disappointments and most of all being patient. I found myself being resourceful beyond the call of duty, I know this was not learned at film school but learned and perfected by watching members of my family, and those I have grown up with use whatever they have at their disposal to better their circumstances. No longer in my twinkling twenties I have realised that ambition is not enough, ambition must be coupled with hard work, there must also be an end to the sometimes selfish pursuit of ambition. There must be satisfaction, self satisfaction and the acknowledgement that yes at this very moment I have completed what I set out to do.
